Welcome to Bend-La Pine Schools
I am very fortunate, as Superintendent of Bend-La Pine Schools, to have the opportunity to walk the halls and visit the hundreds of classrooms in our amazing schools and see first hand the exceptional learning that is taking place. Each day, as I chat with students, staff, and parents I am told of the many successes - both big and small - that our students are achieving. I am impressed and humbled by the resolute dedication that our staff is making to the education of each and every one of our nearly 16,000 students.
Our commitment to build upon our successes and develop into a system of world-class schools is unwavering. Becoming a system of world-class schools begins with believing in the power of education, the potential of children, and the impact of schools. Increased academic gains by our schools in recent years have been significant and provide evidence that we are on the right track to ensure that every student in our schools reaches his or her full potential.
On behalf of the Bend-La Pine Schools' staff, I welcome you and your child to the new school year. Our goal is to meet the individual needs of our students. To do that, we rely on partnerships with you. Teachers know that you can help them know each child better. You are an essential partner in the education process and a critical ally with us in your child's accomplishments. Together, we can be assured that your student will be successful.
