PARENT ASSISTANT: Using Technology to Connect Schools, Students, and Parents!
To improve communication regarding your child's attendance, report card grades, and schedule, the Bend-LaPine School District has implemented a new program called Parent Assistant. Parent Assistant is a feature of our student information system and uses a web browser to provide a secure password-protected site for you to view and update information for all of your children. If you have not received a Parent Assistant login account, you can request one at your student's school or send an email requesting an account to parentassist@bend.k12.or.us.
STUDENT ASSISTANT: Students have been issued a user name & password to access our online Student Assistant program. Student Assistant allows students to view their report card grades, attendance, and fees due. Student Assistant does not allow changes or requests for changes to student information. Currently we have a small group of teachers using the district gradebook program that integrates with the online Student Assistant and Parent Assistant programs. These teachers will post their assignments and assignment marks to the online Student Assistant and Parent Assistant programs providing parents and students with current academic information. Not all teachers are participating in the new gradebook program at this time.
