Greetings Cascade Mountaineers!

The vision for Cascade remains focused on student achievement, collaboration and superior customer service. It is very important to us that you and your children feel valued and connected at Cascade.

Our school always needs volunteers for a wide variety of functions.  Please consider joining our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), which supports many positive student and staff activities. You make a huge difference and it's great for middle school students to see their parents being active in our school!

Registration is right around the corner.  It's hard to believe summer is coming to an end.  Here are important dates and information for you to put on your calendar:

• 6^th grade Orientation with 8^th grade WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) leaders on Wednesday, September 1^st from 7:30-1:00.  This is a required event for all 6^th grade students.  It is an enjoyable day for them to get to know each other, the campus, and the activities at Cascade Middle School. Round trip school bus transportation will be provided.  Be sure to read more about this great program in the packet.  You will be getting an invitation in the mail soon if you are a parent of a 6^th grade student.

• Registration information - please fill out the paperwork in this packet to bring to registration.  Registration will take place in our cafeteria.  Students will also be getting their school pictures in the gym on the same day. 

• 6^th grade registration will be held Wednesday, September 1, 4:00-8:00 pm.
   
  
• 7^th and 8^th grade registration will be held Thursday, September 2, from 11:00-4:00 pm.
   
  
• School Lunch - you can now pay online for your child's school lunches. Click on "General information" tab above and then on "School Information" tab.  You can find out about all of our programs with school lunch. 
   
• Open House, September 23, 7:00 p.m . held in the gymnasium.

Dan Wolnick, our new assistant principal, and I are very excited to meet all of you! Michael Hecker, the former principal, and I have switched positions.  I am coming over from Pilot Butte Middle School where I have been principal for the last three years.  Dan and I have worked together before and are very happy to be your new administrative team.
